Jonathon Kurecki

Jonathon Kurecki is thrilled to be in his first year at Oswego East serving as an assistant band director and music teacher. He is a percussionist and also has extensive experience as a vocalist.

In addition to teaching Symphonic Winds, Mr. Kurecki also leads the Big Band and assists with the Marching Band. Mr. Kurecki also serves as a percussion clinician, arranger, and adjudicator in the Chicago-land area.

Away from music, Mr. Kurecki loves to hike, golf, cook, and is a road trip aficionado. Mr. Kurecki attended Northern Illinois University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.
